NCVO/OPM quality assurance report

A recent report on quality assurance in the voluntary sector from the National Council for Voluntary Organisations and the Office for Public Management throws up some interesting facts. It seems that one in ten VCOs have adapted quality standards for their own organisation or context, with PQASSO and the EFQM Excellence Model cited as the original standard which had been adapted most. Also, voluntary and community sector organisations use over 130 different  quality standards. And, plus ça change, the most common reason for not using quality standards relates to a lack of resources.
